Holotype (unique): CAS-SU 46505 [ex NYZS 6144 and vial 6333]. Type catalog: Mead 1958:132 [ref. 20648]. Males unknown. •Valid as Linophryne arcturi (Beebe 1926) -- (Bertelsen 1990:518 [ref. 15724], Castellanos-Galindo et al. 2006:202 [ref. 28944], Pietsch 2009:499 [ref. 30766], Pietsch 2016:2076 [ref. 34597], Carneiro et al. 2019:220 [ref. 37250]). Current status: Valid as Linophryne arcturi (Beebe 1926). Linophrynidae. Distribution: Eastern Atlantic; eastern Pacific. Habitat: marine.

Linophryne is feminine, so the correct spelling is Quinqueramosa. •Valid as Linophryne quinqueramosa Beebe & Crane 1947 -- (Bertelsen 1980:241 [ref. 8742] with emended spelling, Castellanos-Galindo et al. 2006:202 [ref. 28944], Pietsch 2009:493 [ref. 30766]). Current status: Valid as Linophryne quinqueramosa Beebe & Crane 1947. Linophrynidae. Distribution: Eastern Pacific (1 specimen). Habitat: marine.
